American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL):  AAPL--- pronounced "apple"--- is an organization of psychiatrists dedicated to excellence in practice, teaching, and research in forensic psychiatry.

American College of Forensic Psychiatry:  A private educational association composed of psychiatrists from the United States, Canada and abroad, who serve the civil and criminal courts in the capacity of expert witnesses.  Associate membership is also open to attorneys.

American Council for Drug Education:  A substance abuse prevention and education agency that develops programs and materials based on the most current scientific research on drug use and its impact on society.

APA's PsychPORT:  PsycPORT® is a product of the American Psychological Association created to provide quick access to mass-media information related to psychology.

Association of American Law Schools (AALS):  The AALS is a non-profit association of 162 law schools. The purpose of the association is "the improvement of the legal profession through legal education."

Centre for Crime and Justice Studies:  As a non-campaigning body, the Institute now exists to bring together criminal justice practitioners, sentencers, policy makers and academics through a programme of conferences, courses, seminars, lectures, study visits, research and publications. 

Colleges and Universities - All:  A comprehensive list of colleges and universities, domestic and abroad.

Council on Social Work Education:  CSWE is a national association that preserves and enhances the quality of social work education through setting and maintaining policy and program standards, accrediting bachelor's and master's degree programs in social work, promoting research and faculty development, and advocating for social work education.

Criminal Forensics:  Learn some of the basics about criminal forensics.  Link also to other information, including a history of forensics.

Graduate Psychology and Law Programs:  Compiled by AP-LS, this site provides links to graduate programs in psychology and law and related programs.

Mayo Clinic:  The Mayo Clinic has grown to three clinics and four hospitals in Minnesota, Florida and Arizona that treat more than 400,000 patients each year, supported by extensive research and education programs.

Medical Education:  Go to this site, click on Medical Education on the left hand side, and gather information for medical students, residents, fellows, certification, recertification, and CMEs.

Medicine and More:  If you haven't found what you're looking for so far, go here.  This site provides numerous links to medical information sites.  Among others, it provides links to academic organizations, commercial organizations, discussion groups, government organizations, and non-profit organizations. 

Medscape:  Daily news and feature updates.

Mental Health:  A Report of the Surgeon General:  Review this report and other Surgeon General reports dating back to 1964.  Also, obtain information on conferences, workshops, and other publications.

National Bias Crimes Training:  Published by the U.S. Department of Justice, this is a guide for administrators and instructors of law enforcement and victim assistance professionals.

Nursing Certification:  A list of nursing specialties that offer certification in the U.S. and Canada.

Ohio Colleges and Universities:  Public and Private:  The state of Ohio has a large and diverse system of higher education.  This system is coordinated by the Ohio Board of Regents (OBOR), located in Columbus, Ohio. 

Psychology Departments:  This is a main index for finding psychology and related departments on the internet.

Social Work Education:  This is a list of all known social work schools with web sites.  These listed schools offer either a Bachelors or Masters of Social Work.  This site also provides links to other sites that have a comprehensive list of social work schools.

Social Work Graduate Schools:  Graduate programs in social work across the country (search by state) and internationally.

United States National Library of Medicine:  Health information, library services, research programs, news, and more.

U.S. Universities by State:  This page of UT Austin Web Central contains a list of regionally-accredited U.S. universities organized by state.
