Landmark Forensic Cases

Bazelon Center for Mental Health:  The Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law is a nonprofit legal advocacy organization based in Washington D.C.  Find information about ADA issues, aging issues, children's issues, fair housing, mental health care, other links, and more.

Chronology of Events:  This site is more so a chronology of significant events in American psychology than it is landmark cases in forensic psychology.  Still, it is interesting and provides a lot of valuable information.

Landmark Cases I:  Cases from Rex v. M'Naghten (1843) to Wm. Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (1993).  This site provides the case citation and a brief summary of the facts and findings.

Landmark Cases II:  Very similar to the previous link, but this one provides a little more information for the interested reader and scholar.

Landmarks in Forensic Science:  This is not so much a site of actual cases, as it is a site summarizing landmark happenings in forensics as a science; dating from BCE to 1999, inclusive of a few references.
